Come and See tells a side of the Russians during the height of World War II, through the eyes of a 14-year old boy whose village was invaded by the Nazis. This is a critically-acclaimed piece by Elem Klimov, who based the movie’s outline through his firsthand encounter of the war.

The film was initially released in 1985, and was described as horror-like – because of Klimov’s accuracy recounting life during wartime.
